Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy, uses a cupping device to create vacuum suction of the skin. It has been used for centuries and is gaining popularity for its potential benefits. Cupping has been found beneficial in various conditions such as female reproductive problems, anemia, arthritis, allergies, skin problems, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression chronic pain, sports injuries and other ailments. There are two main types of cupping - dry and wet.

Dry cupping is simple and easy to perform. Cups are applied to skin by using pump. You may combine it with other treatments such as massage called massage or running cupping. Therapist puts oil or lotion on skin to moves the cups back and forth. Dry cupping increases blood flow while removing toxins from the area being treated. This can be done once or twice a week.

Wet cupping is performed by leaving cups on your back for few minutes. Cups are then removed and small tiny cuts are made on the skin.
